Kay Sellers, one of our English teachers, attended the South Carolina Council of Teachers of English Conference last week and brought home the SCCTE Secondary Section High School Teacher of Excellence Award.  Mrs. Sellers has 23 years of teaching experience and taught at Conway High School and Lake City High School before coming to The Forest.

When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, she responded, “Using literature to expand the minds of students and encouraging them to see the world from many different perspectives.”
