The Do’s and Don’ts of Prom
Do’s
- Eat a good dinner.
- Thank your parents for all they are doing.
- Have extra money and your phone in case of emergencies.
- Bring dancing shoes.
- Wear what looks best on you.
- Come with positivity.
- Avoid being on your phone, unless you are taking pictures.
- Dance your heart out.
- Thank your teachers.
- Wear jewelry that will stand out.
- Flex on your ex (not too hard).
- Have your mom’s voice in the back of your head on repeat- respect your date.
- Drink lots of water in between dances.
- Find a dress with pockets.
Don’ts
- Be afraid to go against the norm.
- Forget your tickets.
- Make bad decisions.
- Twerk.
- Over-do your hair and/or makeup.
- Let others ruin your night.
- Wear uncomfortable shoes.
- Forget deodorant.
- Have dragon breath.
- Cuss.
- Sag your dress pants.
- Stuff your pockets with chicken nuggets.
- Eat too much.
- Forget your prom favors on your way out.
