Carolina Country Music Festavil

Carolina+Country+Music+Festavil

June is almost here which means it is time for the Carolina Country Music Festival (CCMF). This is a festival many look forward to each year, bringing thousands of country music fans to downtown Myrtle Beach.

CCMF first premiered in 2015, bringing in 20,000 attendees. The festival has continued to grow throughout the years.  It spans 18 acres from the boardwalk to Ocean Boulevard. In 2021, the festival added a fifth stage to hold more artists. In 2023, CCMF welcomed 35,000 country music fans. Throughout each summer, CCMF brings in over $20 million in profit for the Myrtle Beach area.

CCMF was able to expand their festival grounds even more this year when the zipline was torn down. This allowed for more tickets to be sold on May 17. Since those tickets were put up for sale, the concert has sold out yet again!

CCMF 2024 is set to begin on June 6, featuring 30 of the hottest country music headlining artists plus rising stars. Some big names this year include Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Megan Moroney, Parker McCollum, Lady A, Old Dominion, Lee Brice, and many more!

Along with the big names in country music, there are many rising stars that will also perform. These include Hailey Whitters, Lauren Hall, Dillon James, Avery Anna, and so many more.

Junior Emily Waters shared, “I am really excited to see everyone. I am most excited to see Morgan Wallen; I am obsessed with that man. In my opinion, his music is really good and all my friends and family love to listen to him.”

Many attendees look forward to the theme nights.  On Friday, Hawaiian night is in honor of Jimmy Buffet.  Saturday is neon cowboy night, and Sunday is US of A Day, in honor of Toby Keith.

“I love how this year’s themes are honoring two of country music’s biggest names. My favorite night will probably be the Hawaiian night in honor of Jimmy Buffet, stated senior,” Isaac Shelley.

If you were unable to get tickets for the festival, tickets do get resold through all forms of social media. If you are still unable to find a ticket, the tickets for next year’s festival typically go on sale sometime during the summer, and this information can be found on their Instagram or website.
