Dear Panthers,
Looking back at the last four years of life here at Carolina Forest, I don’t think I would change a thing.
Freshman year was an eye opener of the things the school has to offer. Jumping forward into sophomore year, the ideas I had turned into opportunities where I became heavily involved in the school. The past three years I have played lacrosse, become a Panther ambassador, joined Student Council, got inducted in various honor societies, and had an editor position for The Prowler, our digital newspaper.
The Prowler offered me so many unforgettable memories and experiences. I am so thankful to have met everyone I have throughout this journey. I’m super grateful to have taught others everything about newspaper production as I was once taught by a fellow graduate who was an editor.
Being in Student Council for three years has taught me so much. Serving as Student Body Secretary my senior year was a position I held with gratitude and pride. One of my favorite memories was going down to Charleston and helping with a food bank.
I’d like to thank all of my teachers for supporting and watching me succeed in my journeys, and a big thank you to Ms. Twigg for everything you have done for me.
I am filled with honor and appreciation for the positive impact I was able to have at CFHS. All of the opportunities I have had to be involved in the school allowed me to develop several key skills that I will carry on forever. Each role and responsibility I took on was a true recognition of my achievements but also a reminder of the value of hard work and integrity I had with every step throughout my time serving.
Thank you, CF, Emily Waters signing out!
