On April 18, the National Art Honors Society at Carolina Forest High School held their induction ceremony in G house at the front of the hall.

President Nina Papas started the induction by presenting a poem explaining what art is to the community. Her words echoed off the hallway walls while everyone listened to her confident voice.

After the short, meaningful poem, Nina stepped back and  Vice President Kinley Hysner took the microphone to say a few words. Together, Nina and Kinley announced the members of NAHS to those present.

The returning members were called to the front of the hall first. The old members included: Nina Papas, Kinley Hysner, Theresa Glazer, Caylee Stack, Madison Mixon, Samantha Senig, Madalyn Wellons, Caroline McDaniels, and Brayleen Dee Cepeda. Each person called to the front was presented with a plastic yellow rose as they lined up behind the president, vice president and all the art teachers at Carolina Forest High School: Kristen Dutka, Thomas Mendenhall, Meghan Norris and Natalie Pantuso.

The new members were announced next, heading to their spots behind the old members. The new members included: Hannah Ali, Isabelle Kern, Dominique St. Hillaire, Chelsea Jones, Kelsey McGhee, Kylie Woods, Samantha Heckel, Yasmin Kelly, Brianna Manphy, Emmy Brittingham, Ava Masliuk, Ashley Woodhall, Kate Osborne, Mikayla Barrett, Anna Halford, Aiden McGinnis, Bridgett Young and Jordan Morris. Similar to the returning members, the new members received a plastic rose; however, theirs were red.

Congratulation to another fine year for these amazing artist!
