I Want To Be Free

I+Want+To+Be+Free

Emily Seda / Freshman

I want to be far away from this place, so I can fly.

I want to roam that world without a thought, no “useless” or “annoying.”

I want to be the only human in that world surrounded by animals; they never insult you or leave you.

I want to leave this place because I am afraid if I stay here too long, I’ll break.

I want to be in a place with no mirrors, so I’ll never have to see who I am.

I want to go up into the clouds where the days never change.

I want to be in the clouds where the light never seems to evade.

I want to be free.
