Laying on the beach

Looking up at the stars

I can’t help but think what you are

some things are better left a mystery

How lucky you are to share a sky with the sun and the moon

Do you get to watch their love bloom?

You must hate when the clouds take your spotlight

Although tomorrow will be a different night

To lay in the cold grass,

Looking up at the dark sky,

Is what gets me through the day

So many questions running through my head

Do you dance in the sky?

How many of you are there?

I laugh with my friends, do you laugh with yours?

Some may not ever be answered

But as long as you stay

Glowing in the night sky

Finally darkness as I close my eyes
