Taylor Jenkins Reid’s best-selling novel that is well-loved amongst most book readers has recently been turned into a hit TV series called “Daisy Jones and The Six!”

The show tells the story of Daisy Jones, a young upcoming singer who joins the rising rock band The Six, and their journey towards fame. Starring Riley Keough as Daisy Jones and Sam Clafin as Billy Dunne, the show captures the aesthetic of the era amazingly.

As someone who has both read the book as well as watched the show, I found both to be really interesting! I loved the characters and how they are portrayed, as well as the romances that help carry the story.

It was no surprise how quickly the show had risen to fame. Considering the 70s fashion trends, the music and the show is supposedly  inspired by the band Fleetwood Mac to capture the music and relationships of the band and clothing. “Daisy Jones and The Six” was destined to become a success!

“My oldest daughter gave me her copy of “Daisy Jones and The Six” to read during spring break. I really enjoyed the various points-of-view from all the characters. I grew up in the 70’s, which also grabbed my interest. Finding out that it’s loosely based on Fleetwood Mac was an added bonus. It’s a great story! ” shared Ann Twigg.

Overall, “Daisy Jones and The Six” is an amazing piece of storytelling that has captured the attention of their audience world-wide. It’s a must watch for anyone interested in music, drama or even a good story. Whether you’re a fan of Fleetwood Mac or new to the world of 70s rock, “Daisy Jones and the Six” is a must watch!
