Bright rays of golden hue

Pulls me out of my saddened blue

Giving me warmth and light 

Always such a delight

Defeating darkness and conquering shadows with just its presence

Leaving for the a while

A dull substitute in its place

You can never be replaced  

Returning in the morrow 

Doing it all again 

An ever-growing cycle of night and day 

Hopefully it never ends
