Homecoming Day at Carolina Forest High School on Friday, October 24, 2025, was one to remember! Students filled the stands with excitement at the pep rally, their cheers bouncing through the stadium and setting the tone for an unforgettable night. At the game, energy ran high, and the crowd showed unwavering support for their team.
The pep rally was held during the day. There was music, dancing, lots of games and so much fun. We also had a performance by the cheerleaders, The Pantherettes, the football players and many staff members, including Ms. Driggers.
We also had our Homecoming white-out game that night. CFHS varsity football played Myrtle Beach High School, which is our biggest rival. We won 51-20, and our student section brought the spirit.
Kamren Long, varsity quarterback, responded with his thoughts during and after the game.
“It felt good to win the Homecoming game, especially in such a big way. We came out focused and executed from start to finish. The energy was crazy, and it felt great to make our fans proud. Going into the game, I just wanted to stay humble, lead by example, and trust my teammates – we knew if we stayed disciplined, the results would take care of themselves.”
During halftime, the spotlight turned to the Homecoming court, who took center stage with pride as they were recognized. Congrats to our Homecoming king and queen, Macy Basham and Cole Satterwhite.
Another congratulations to our court: Zeth Medina, Madyson Schreiber, Cole Guess, Isabella Boyd, Angel Arguelles Garcia, Emily Rojas, Vann Gibney, Addison Lund for winning prince and princess in each grade.
Senior Macy Basham was very excited when she heard her name.
“Winning Homecoming queen felt amazing, not just because I won, but because it showed how much support I had from my classmates! I was just happy to be nominated. No matter who won, I knew it would be someone deserving, so I was just happy to be around so many amazing people!”
Overall, the day of Homecoming was filled with fun, excitement and memorable. We had an amazing day, and thanks to everyone who participated in all of the fun activities during the week. As the excitement fades, this year’s Homecoming will continue to shine throughout the year.
