One of the best animated animal movies is back for a sequel that was released on November 26 of this year. In ‘Zootopia 2,” we see some old faces along with some new friends and problems.
Within the first five days of the movie being in theaters, “Zootopia 2” blew away” WICKED: For Good” box office sales with $556 million globally, with more than $158 million from domestic ticket sales alone. “Zootopia 2” has had the highest global opening for an animated movie of all time because of ticket sales. Many students at Carolina Forest High School might have contributed to those sales.
Audrina Acosta, a junior and secretary of the Anchor Club, stated, “I really enjoyed the movie. I genuinely wasn’t going to watch it at first, but I decided to give it a chance and ended up really liking it.”
According to “Rotten Tomatoes,” they call this movie, “An action-fueled, hilarious, heartwarming adventure for the whole family, Zootopia 2 is packed with cuteness and charm – some say it may even surpass its spectacular predecessor.”
The Zootopia movies are popular because they combine sharp storytelling with a world that is both imaginative and familiar. They have colorful characters and fast-paced humor, along with deep themes about friendship, diversity, stereotypes, and working with others.
That is also why I think this movie isn’t just for smaller children; I feel like it’s for every age. I really enjoyed the movie, the plot, and the solution of the conflict kept me really engaged in my seat, not wanting to miss a part. In my opinion, I feel like it’s a perfect movie to watch with your family. “Zootopia 2” is way more action-packed than the first one. I also really enjoyed the humor, the jokes, and the animal-related puns.
Ella Chapman, a sophomore, shared, “I LOVE almost every Disney movie, so I was really excited to watch a new Zootopia movie. I honestly really liked it because it had so many plot twists. ”
Whether or not you want to see the movie, I think that as older audiences watching the film, we can really pick up the positive theme that is being displayed throughout it. Also, we get to spot all of the hidden Disney Easter eggs- which is always fun.
