Saige Johnson, sophomore, shared her thoughts about the newest movie.
“The new movie had many unexpected events but was very entertaining. I enjoyed the parts where Elphaba helped return the city to accept the talking animals. I personally liked “Wicked – For Good” better because this movie was more focused on the Emerald City.”
Personally, after watching the first “Wicked,” I was thrilled to watch the second movie. “Wicked: For Good.” I thought that the second movie was actually better because of how the movie developed in the middle and the end. I also like the new relationship that Glinda and Elphaba have with each other.
Overall, “Wicked: For Good“ continues the story in a meaningful and emotional way. The movie builds on the characters and relationships introduced in the first film, especially the bond between Elphaba and Glinda. While many might not like the second movie, the second film does a good job of developing the plot and showing character growth. Together, the Wicked movies give viewers a new perspective on the world of Oz and leave a lasting impression on everyone.
