The Carolina Forest High School Baseball team has built a reputation for success and back to back wins throughout this season. With a roster full of dedicated and talented athletes, this season’s records speak for themselves. They have a 16-5 overall record and a commanding 10-1 in region play as of mid- April 2026.
Under Head Coach Wayne Riser, this team is currently ranked #1 in the region. As if their performance didn’t say enough about their hard work, there are also a couple of players continuing their baseball career on the collegiate level. This year the team is led by top tier prospects like Parker Reavis and Easton Otto, who have drawn attention for their performances on both the mound and at the plate.
“Playing on the high school level has helped me prepare for my future career by giving me the opportunities and certain situations that you can’t get in practice. It has also helped me recognize how important being close with your team is and having that bond. I look forward to making a run in the playoffs with this group of guys and continuing to make memories and play baseball, commented Otto, who is committed to Southeastern Community College.
In addition to Otto, Parker Reavis committed to the University of North Florida.
“Playing baseball has taught me self discipline, work ethic, and that you have to work for your goal, they will not just be handed out to you. I am looking forward to winning Regions and making a deep run in the playoffs,” shared Reavis.
As the regular season comes to a close, the Panthers are ready for a great playoff run. Currently ranked #4 in the HSSR Class 5A Division 1 poll, they are in a great spot for a high tier ranking when brackets are released.
As the team is approaching the end of the spring season, they are staying consistent and looking forward to the playoffs.
