Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, (FCA), is a world-wide organization that is designed to spread the Christian faith to student athletes.

Here in the Forest, FCA meetings take place weekly in the mini gym on Thursday’s during lunch. The campus ministry of FCA is led by seniors Kyle Ewing, Bowman Davis, and Madalyn Wellons.

Many of our coaches and teachers at CF are actively involved in the club as well, such as Dave Schenck, Brian Brunson, Tripp Satterwhite, Ann Twigg, and Jen Sefick.

The president, Madalyn Wellons, means so much to her. It is where she can dive into God’s Word and discuss with others what is going on in her life.

Coach Dave has been a part of FCA for two years now. He hopes that the club will expand and that we obtain more permanent members.

“I attend FCA because it makes me feel good about myself, and I can give praise to God,” said Coach Dave.

Upcoming events for FCA:

  • FCA has a coat and blanket drive going on until December 16. All proceeds are going to homeless veterans and their families.
  • Thursday, December 14, FCA is having a chicken bog lunch in the mini gym.
  • FCA is participating in River Oaks Elementary donation of presents for their angel tree on December 16.
