With less than 50 days left before the annual Carolina Country Music Festival, we are all stoked! This fun-filled festival takes place during June 8-11 at 812 N. Ocean Blvd.  Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Myrtle Beach has been hosting CCMF since 2015 and has never disappointed. The festival is filled with so many things like popular country artists, dj’s, food, shopping and unforgettable memories. Many people from all around the world travel here just for the festival. In fact, CCMF has been nominated this year for the ACM Festival of the Year Award.

This year’s lineup has everyone on their toes and filled with excitement. The 2023 CCMF lineup includes Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Bret Michaels, Miranda Lambert, Bailey Zimmerman, Whiskey Myers, Megan Moroney, Travis Tritt, Brooks & Dunn, Tracy Lawrence, Jon Langston, Scotty McCreery, Drake Milligan, Kidd G, Neon Union, Davisson Brothers Band and others. With this incredible lineup, this is the first year CCMF has sold out.

Each day has a different theme except for Thursday. This year’s theme will include the annual U.S. of a Day, Live Like a Dutton, and Diamonds and Denim. Many students here at Carolina Forest High School go every single year. Last year was my first time experiencing CCMF, and I had so much fun that I plan on going every single year now.

Sophomore Allison Funderburk, expressed, “CCMF is my favorite weekend of the year! I love watching my favorite artists sing and just the experience. Every year I go with my concert buddy Anna Kate! We are singing and dancing and just having the best time together the whole night.”

I also agree with Funderburk because I always have the best time when I’m dancing with my friends and singing. Even though feet tend to hurt by the end of the night, it is so worth it, and I will do it every year just to experience the fun and thrilling weekend in the hot summer air.

Another student, Hector Baena, stated, “The best memory from CCMF was playing cornhole. The experience is amazing and a reason why I go every year is because of the new memories I make.”

In the past, CCMF has had performances by Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Gabby Barret, Jason Aldean, Chris Lane, Jimmie Allen, Brett Young, and more.

This tradition has become a national staple that brings fans from all across America. There’s no better way to kick off the summer!
