As a local of the Carolina Forest area, I am always on the lookout for the best places to eat. From family-owned restaurants to fast food chains, there are plenty of options to satisfy any craving. After surveying a select group of students at Carolina Forest High School where they like to eat, I quickly discovered that there were three places that seemed to be on everyone’s radar.
The first restaurant that was mentioned by a majority was Cook-out. As a fast-food chain, Cook-out is a popular spot for many. According to Cook-outs website, they are most known for their burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes that are set at a reasonable price. What sets Cook-out apart is their extensive menu and the ability to customize almost every item on it. From classic cheeseburgers to quesadillas and even hush puppies, this spot has something for everyone.
Alasia Kelley said, “My favorite place would be Cookout. The reason why I like Cookout is because their Oreo milkshake and their hush puppies are really good.
Another place that was mentioned as a popular dining destination was King Kong Sushi. If you’re a fan of sushi, this is the place to be. On the King Kong Sushi website, they have a unique atmosphere and it’s combined with its fresh and delicious sushi offerings, make it a favorite among locals. With its diverse menu and fresh fish selection, King Kong Sushi is perfect for dining in or taking out.
“My favorite place to eat in the Carolina Forest area is King Kong Sushi because I love sushi and the place itself is really nice, and the food is pretty affordable,” shared Sofia Almeida.
Lastly, Jersey Bagels was mentioned over and over again as the go-to spot for breakfast sandwiches and bagels. According to the official Myrtle Beach website, customers will find traditional and creative options that will satisfy any breakfast craving, whether you’re a fan of classic bacon, egg, and cheese or prefer something more adventurous like a lox bagel that has salmon, cream cheese and more. Everyone can find something they love at Jersey Bagels.
Senior Addison Fegley commented, “I would say my favorite place to eat is Jersey Bagels,;their bagels are amazing. Their prices are reasonable and I love the staff there!”
In conclusion, the Carolina Forest area has plenty of options for delicious meals, but Cook-out, King Kong Sushi, and Jersey Bagels seem to be the three places that are most loved by many students at Carolina Forest High School. A good amount of people have also said that Chick-Fil A, Sneaky Beagle and Zaxby’s are favorite places to eat.
