Pet owners are now be able to dine with their dogs in a new dog friendly restaurant. The Sneaky Beagle is located at the former Longbeard’s Bar and Grill Restaurant in Carolina Forest.

Chris Evans, the owner of the Sneaky Beagle, owns two Grumpy Monk restaurants; one is located on 501 and the other at Broadway at the Beach. Evans is from Buffalo, New York and attended Coastal Carolina University. He is now a local to the area.

At the Sneaky Beagle, dogs are permitted on the outside deck only unless the dog is a service animal. There are many toys and water bowls to ensure that the dogs will stay entertained and hydrated. Evans has big plans for the future of this restaurant and wants to try to build a dog park. He also has planned on hosting dog adoption events.

The dogs even have their own menu. The menu will consist of items such as rice, chicken breast and frozen yogurt. The prices  range from between $1-$3.Evans has a beagle named Taco. The restaurant is going to offer many unusual taco selections such as, chicken fettuccine alfredo Taco, Thanksgiving Taco, a mac and cheese taco and a fried chicken taco, along with many other unique combos. The Sneaky Beagle will also offer sushi, burgers, build your own salads, a kid’s menu and a vegetarian option.

The indoor portion of the restaurant holds about 180 people, with the outside deck seating an estimated 80 people.The restaurant includes a ten percent discount off regular priced items for the locals. Dog lovers come out and enjoy this new restaurant and bring along your fluffy friends!
