Poland’s recent decision to stop supplying arms to Ukraine has raised concerns and generated discussions about the country’s role in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Sophomore Lucas Kvirkiela said, “Since I am Georgian, I always had strong feelings about supporting Ukraine in the war because Georgia was also invaded back in 2008. So from the beginning, I believed that they needed full support. However, after seeing how much money has been pumped into Ukraine from not only our government but the governments of many European nations, I think they have the right to decide when to cut them off, especially if there was no mutual benefit. I believe completely that Poland has the right to decide what they are sending to Ukraine.”
